Cafayate Terroir de Altura is the result of knowing how to expect the best expression of the terroir. The winemaker's sensitivity fully deployed in the search for unique plots that result in balanced and elegant wines.
The red varieties, Malbec complemented with 10% Bonarda and Cabernet Sauvignon complemented with 10% Tannat, both aged for 10 months in barrels. The white, Torrontés reflects the maximum expression of this strain in which we have more than 170 years of experience. Without aging to preserve the typical aromatic freshness of the variety.
Cafayate Terroir de Altura Malbec
Balanced and elegant Malbec, with a deep ruby red color with violet tones. On the nose, black fruits are perceived, standing out plum and cherry, with a subtle floral note that completes this unique aromatic palette. Intense entry, with good volume and velvety tannins. It was combined with 10% Bonarda that gives it softness and freshness. They complement smoky and caramel notes provided by its 10-month aging in oak.
Cafayate Terroir de Altura Cabernet Sauvignon
Maximum expression of Cafayateño Cabernet, it is presented spicy and elegant. Garnet red in color with ruby highlights. Spicy nose with characteristic notes of peppers, typical of the region. They complement delicate notes of red fruits and cassis. Aromas of chocolate and coffee are perceived, product of its passage through oak. Great structure and impressive volume on the palate, with round, sweet and ripe tannins, the result of its combination with a touch of Tannat.
Cafayate Terroir de Altura Torrontés
Culmination of more than 170 years of experience in managing the variety, a high-end Torrontés faithful representative of its place of origin. Pale greenish yellow in color with steely reflections. Intense, complex and delicate aroma, with notes of scented white flowers such as jasmine and orange blossom, in perfect harmony with maura and juicy fruits, such as peach and pineapple. On the palate it is fresh and elegant, with balanced acidity and a distinctive volume. Long and pleasant finish.
